Kari Weidner-Ceniceros LPGA Class A - Professional Site Director
...native to Fargo, Kari is a familiar face within the Fargo-Moorhead Golf Community. Kari graduated from Fargo South High and continued her education with a BA in Business and minors in Communication and Psychology from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. Weidner-Ceniceros played collegiately for the Cobbers and was an All-American in her senior season in 2000 when she helped Concordia to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Division III Championship.
After College, Weidner worked with the American Junior Golf Association, Junior World Golf Championships, and as a teaching professional with the LPGA, specializing in the teaching and club division. Before returning to Fargo in 2005, she was also the assistant golf professional at San Diego Country Club in San Diego for four years. From 2007 - 2021, Kari held the position of Assistant Golf Professional/Golf Shop Buyer/Merchandiser at the Fargo Country Club. Kari has been a Class A LPGA Member since 2001.
In addition to her professional teaching experience, Weidner-Ceniceros has over 10 years’ experience as a high school or college coach. While in San Diego she was the head girls’ golf coach at Coronado HS. After moving back to the Fargo-Moorhead area she was an assistant coach with the Concordia College from 2008-14 and Head Coach from 2018-2020. She also enjoys her position of Tour Director, for the Steve Weidner’s FM Junior Golf Tour that provides tournament opportunities for juniors ages 11-18 in the Fargo Moorhead area every summer.
Kari is married to her husband, Deme and together they have two children, Eliana and Noah. In her spare time she enjoys entertaining, traveling and time at the Lake.
